In our daily work life we use many account on the internet. We use email, blog account, banking account and many more. We need to remember many passwords for our account to log in. Either we use same password in more than one account or we write down our passwords to some where. Both the approach is risky and should not follow by any one.
One solution of this problem is password manager. It is a software which manage all your passwords for you. Now a days I am trying Last Pass. It is a small software having extension for all the major web browsers. I am trying this with Google Chrome. The first impression is good. Let me use some days more then I can say my review to you.
The basic functionality is very simple. You need to create an account with your email id and a master password in Last Pass. Then when you open your web browser you can log in to Last Pass account and add your favorite websites with your credentials into it. When you open your favorite website you can see Last Pass automatically fill your credentials and you need to just click on the log in button. Actually you can forget your password and Last Pass cares all of your credentials at the time of Log In.
For example, suppose you have added Facebook website with your credentials in Last Pass. Then when you open facebook.com you will see your credentials already filled up in the log in textboxes. Then you need to click on the Log In button.
Last Pass store all of your passwords in encrypted format in their server. The main thing is your accounts can be much more secure now.
I have stored my email, blog and banking passwords in Last Pass. The initial experience is good and I am hoping to continue with Last Pass.
